A quirk in the 1st XV's schedule sees Falkirk visit Beveridge Park, for only their 3rd competitive fixture of the season, but their 2nd against Kirkcaldy.

Both sides will feel they could, and perhaps should, have won the National League Cup pool game the end of August, which ended in a 39:39 draw.

And with Falkirk having secured narrow wins on their previous couple of visits to Kirkcaldy, the team know that they will need to deliver a more clinical performance this week to maintain that winning run against a much improved home side.
